Alpbachtal, Austria
This year's specialty involves splitting up into different accommodations in the Alpbachtal. We will be part of the village communities of Alpbach, Inneralpbach and Reith.
Our central meeting point in Alpbach is the Congress Centrum Alpbach (Alpbach 246, A-6236 Alpbach)
Arrival by plane at Munich Airport: When registering, you have already told us how you are travelling. Shuttle buses will be available at Munich Airport. Shuttle meeting point: Starbucks Terminal 2, Level 3
Parking situation: If you are travelling by car, you can come directly to the Congress Centrum Alpbach. Please head directly to the venue's underground parking, as space in front of the building is limited. It's important to enter your license plate number upon arrival to facilitate the registration process.

Once you arrive at the Congress Centrum Alpbach you will be accredited and receive further information about your accommodation, parking and the agenda.

Dresscode: Business attire
Beginning: The shuttles leaving for the event location depart at 6:30 pm. Please make sure you are on time. People who are accommodated in Alpbach can walk to the location. Welcome and get-together start at 7:00 pm.
Ending: 11:30 pm; shuttle service back to the Hotel starting at 11:00 pm.
Additional information: During the get-together, you will draw a number placing you at a selected table for the Speira Awards 2024. If you have indicated any eating habits during your registration, please let the service staff know.
Shuttle: If you miss a shuttle, there are public buses that run in Alpbach, Inneralpbach and Reith.
Congress Centrum Alpbach (Day 2 – September 5, 2024)

Dresscode: Business casual
Beginning: The shuttles to the conference location depart at 8:00 am. Please make sure you are on time. People who are accommodated in Alpbach can walk to the location. Opening starting at 8:30 am.
Ending: 4:45 pm.
You will have the opportunity to attend up to four workshops, categorized into Content Corners and Skill Corners.
Please note that certain workshops (CC4, SKC1, SKC2, SKC3) are the same duration as two individual workshops. For example, if you book the workshop CC4, you can only attend two additional individual corners or SKC1/SKC2/SKC3.
Surprise (Day 2 – September 5, 2024)
Dresscode: Casual (Attention: Please beware the path to the location is a little rough. Please refrain from wearing high heels or bring additional flat shoes)
As we gather for our evening celebration, we embrace the rustic charm of Austria. While the dress code is casual, we encourage those who own traditional Alpine attire, such as Dirndls and Lederhosen, to wear them and contribute to the alpine ambiance of our gathering. However, please note that this is entirely optional and we welcome you to join us in whatever makes you feel festive and comfortable.
Beginning: The shuttles to the party location depart at 6:30 pm. Please make sure you are on time.
Ending: Starting at 11:30 pm, shuttles will be available to take you back to the hotels. The official party ends at 1:00 am. For those don´t want the party to end, there is an after-party in a bar in Alpbach. The shuttle will take you there as well. Starting at 2:00 am, shuttles will be available to take you back to the hotels from the after-party location. The after-party ends at 3:00 am.
We will take a cable car to the location. Please contact the organisation team if you are afraid of heights or do not want to take the cable car for other reasons.
Please note that we are located in villages that are inhabited and we would like to integrate ourselves as part of this village community. Please ensure respectful and quiet behaviour in the villages.
Congress Centrum Alpbach (Day 3 – September 6, 2024)

Important: Please make sure to check out before 8:30 am and bring your luggage with you to the Congress Centrum Alpbach. There will be a room for the luggage. For those who travel by car and are not accommodated in Alpbach, please bring your car with you, there are parking spaces in the Congress Centrum Alpbach.
Beginning: The shuttles to the team events depart at 8:30 am. Please make sure you are on time. People who are accommodated in Alpbach can walk to the location. Team events starting at 9:00 am.
Dresscode mountain hike: Sporty, waterproof clothing and hiking shoes
Please make an assessment in the sign up form as to whether you would like to hike an easy or a moderately difficult route.
Dresscode Outdoor-Yoga: Sporty clothing
Dresscode other activities: Casual with stable shoes
After the activities you can fresh-up and eventually change clothes in the restrooms. Please note that there are no showers.
Lunch to-go: You are welcome to pick up a packed lunch at the Congress Centrum Alpbach from 11:00 am for your journey home.

We are all aware that the most sustainable event is no event at all, and each year we face the challenge of travel logistics. We strive to rethink the summit every year and create ideal conditions that foster our inspiration and broaden our horizons. As an international team, we often cannot avoid longer journeys. However, we place great emphasis on organizing the event as sustainably as possible on-site.
As you know, shuttle buses will be available for you from Munich Airport to collectively bring you to Alpbach. This and all other shuttles will be provided by a regional transfer company from the Alpbach region.
As a long-time licensee of the Austrian Ecolabel and holder of the Green Globe certificate, the Congress Centrum Alpbach is a strong partner for implementing authentic Green Meetings. Together, we take many visible and invisible measures. Step by step, the Congress Centrum Alpbach leads us to a certified event and ensures that all areas of sustainability are equally considered. For example, almost all of us are accommodated in lodgings certified with the Austrian Ecolabel, and regional catering is selected in accordance with certification criteria. As an example of small-scale initiatives, this year, we kindly ask you to return your name badge so that we can reuse it next year. In addition, we are happy to share more insights on sustainability measures & certification on-site.
