It's almost time. We are looking forward to the inspeiration summit 2025 with you.

Below you will find the most important information and the schedule for this year's summit.

Please note that there are a few boxes below that we need you to fill in. Please give us your feedback on this by August 20, 2025.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

The hotels and event locations are centrally located in downtown Oslo. From Oslo-Gardermoen Airport, the Flytoget airport express train offers a direct connection to Oslo Central Station. You can download the Flytoget app using the link below and use it to book your tickets between Gardermoen Airport and the city center:

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased at the airport. Please make sure to use the Flytoget ticket machines or counters.

The hotel is within walking distance of Oslo Central Station.

Please note: This year, guests are accommodated in two different hotels. Make sure to go to the hotel assigned to you.

If you arrive in Oslo early and would like to explore the city before check-in, you’re welcome to drop off your luggage at the accreditation table at the hotel in advance. The accreditation table is located on the conference level.

Additional information: For the check-in we will welcome you at an accreditation table. You will receive your room card and event pass there. To double check please communicate existent allergies to the accreditation again.

Dresscode: Business attire

Beginning: The shuttles leaving for the event location depart at 6:30 pm. Please make sure you are on time. The event location is about a 15-minute walk from the hotels. Of course, you’re welcome to walk there and take the opportunity to explore a bit of Oslo along the way. Welcome and get-together start at 6:45 pm.

Ending: Shuttle service back to the hotel starting at 11:00 pm.

Additional information: During the get-together, you will draw a number placing you at a selected table for the Speira Awards 2025. If you have indicated any eating habits during your registration, please let the service staff know once you’re seated. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to the team from our event agency, fünfdrei.

After drink: After the Speira Awards, you are welcome to enjoy a drink at the Shutter bar of the Clarion Hotel Oslo. The bar will be available for networking between 11:30 pm and 2:00 am.

Please remember that the next morning starts early, and we want to ensure a successful inspeiration summit with you.

Ending: 4:00 pm

As last year, the afternoon part of the conference will be more flexible, allowing you to put together your own program based on your interests. You have the opportunity to choose 3 topics you are interested in. Below you can find out what content is covered in the individual sessions.

There are 3 rounds in which you can take one session each.

The workshop Beyond Buzzwords takes place over all three rounds.
Places per session are limited, the principle of first come first serve applies.

Workshop Descriptions

Speira AI strategy and Copilot@speira in action

Purpose: In this workshop, you will first learn about the Speira AI strategy. Then you’ll discover how AI tools like Microsoft Copilot can support your daily work. You’ll experience live demos and practical examples that show how Copilot can make your tasks easier and more efficient.

How We (Accidentally) Weaken Safety Culture And How to Build It Stronger
Tobias Koch

Purpose: This session will explore the subtle and often unnoticed ways in which leadership behaviours can undermine safety culture, even when intentions are good. By recognising these patterns, we can discover practical strategies to transform them into powerful drivers for building a stronger, more resilient safety culture.

Beyond Buzzwords: Embedding our leadership culture
Dr. Martin Friedrich, Annika Härtel

Purpose: In this interactive Culture Parcour session, you’ll dive into your leadership journey – exploring how our leadership culture shows up in your daily work and how you can drive real commitment to move Speira forward. Using tools like Mentimeter, Liberating Structures, and Lego Serious Play, you’ll network, reflect and co-create ideas for the future – leaving with fresh inspiration and actionable takeaways for your leadership.

Purpose: Shaping our future through ideas and digital innovation. Explore how speira.ID, our Digital Product Passport, is setting new standards by making environmental and product data transparent across the entire value chain – from raw materials to sustainable aluminium solutions.

Strategic Process & Technology Upgrades in Aluminium Recycling for a Shifting Scrap Market

Purpose: As the aluminium scrap market evolves, recycling operations must adapt to new sources, higher contamination, and global supply shifts. This talk presents a strategic approach combining tailored melting unit upgrades, AI-driven digitalization, advanced off-gas treatment, and cross-site performance networks - enabling efficient, future-ready aluminium recycling.

INSPEIRATION AFTER WORK EVENT

Dresscode: Casual (Attention: Please beware that the path to the location is a little rough. Please refrain from wearing high heels or bring additional flat shoes.)

Beginning: The shuttles to the party location depart at 6:30 pm. Please make sure you are on time. The event location is about a 15-minute walk from the hotels. Of course, you’re welcome to walk there and take the opportunity to explore a bit of Oslo along the way.

Ending: Starting at 11:45 pm, shuttles will be available to take you back to the hotels. The party ends at 2:00 am.

Tour of the Holmestrand plant

Discover the Holmestrand plant during a guided tour.

There will be a shuttle taking you to the plant in Holmestrand and afterwards directly to the airport. Please be in front of the Clarion Hotel Oslo by 08:30 at the latest and remember to bring your luggage. In case you are placed at Clarion Hotel The Hub please consider that there is only one shuttle running from Clarion Hotel Oslo and incorporate the walking distance in your timing.

Oslo fjord cruise by boat

Experience a breathtaking round trip across the Oslofjord.

The boat will depart at 9:00 am, please make sure you arrive at 8:45 am. The boat dock is within walking distance of the hotels, please make sure to be there on time.

You can choose if you prefer to listen to the seagulls and the sound of the waves or if you would like to enjoy all the stories from the Oslofjord told in the guiding app "Voice of Norway". Feel free to bring your own headphones so you can follow along comfortably.

Tour of the Holmenkollen ski jump tower with a visit to the Ski Museum

Discover the story of the incredible 5,000-year journey from ancient transport method to modern Olympic sport.

The shuttle will depart at 9:30 am from your hotel. Please make sure to be there on time.

Since the shuttle will go directly from Holmenkollen to the airport, please make sure to bring your luggage with you. You can leave it on the shuttle bus during the tour.

Barista Workshop

Experience a barista session with 6-7 coffees followed by an analysis of flavours and aromas and a tour of the roastery.

Since we’ve chosen a small, exclusive coffee roastery, there isn’t enough space for the entire group at once. Therefore, we will split you into two groups – one starting at 9:00 am, the other at 10:00 am. We will let you know which group you are in at the latest upon your arrival.

The people in the first group will be picked up in front of their hotel at 8:30 am. The people in the second group will be picked up in front of their hotel at 9:30 am. After their team event, both groups will be taken back to their respective hotels (one at 10:00 am the other one at 11:00 am).

During the time you’re not taking part in the team activity, you can enjoy some free time in Oslo.
